Ski lifts, alpine pistes, nordic ski trails, snowboarding, ice-skating and tobogganing: all this and much more is offered by the Bergamo mountain resorts during the winter months, rightfully placing them among the best-equipped ski areas in Lombardy.
The resorts are all located in the Orobie Pre-Alps and they successfully compete with the most well-known and traditional resorts in the whole of the Alpine chain, to which they are an ideal stepping stone.
The Orobie tourist resorts are all less than 100 km from Milan and can easily be reached, in normal traffic conditions, in just over an hour and a half.

A comprehensive network of bus services provides connections to all the winter tourist resorts in the province of Bergamo; Orio al Serio international airport is situated in a strategic position near the beginning of the two largest valleys.
