The close link with its waters, which have been taken for centuries at Trescore, is shown by the “Balneario” added to its name.
The ancient Romans, and later the Gauls, enjoyed its invaluable sulphurous waters which have always been considered amongst the richest in Italy  in hydrogen sulphide. Their efficacy is also shown by more recent history, with the Spa of Trescore visited by Bartolomeo Colleoni, who restored it and by Giuseppe Garibaldi. Alongside the fine ruins from Colleoni’s time, today there is a modern and well-equipped centre which fits in perfectly with the greenery and peacefulness of the natural surroundings. The Centre stands at the entrance to the Cavallina Valley, only 15 kilometres from Bergamo, in an area which is also very rich in fine artistic and cultural elements.
Inhalation treatment and baths for dermatological diseases are offered at the spa of Trescore. Private treatment for peripheral vasculopathies for the after-effects of chronic phlebopathy, massages, hydromassages, beauty care and physical rehabilitation cycles are also offered.
